Nexus 7 - Watsapp - Device not compatible...!!!

Hello,

Imagine the world now without connectivity to social networking.

Imagine the world now without access to facebook, twitter, whatsapp !!
This was always a thought in my mind, if I buy a device and that will not let me install whatsapp ....and believe me yesterday encountered one similar situation. A friend of mine bought one Nexus 7 and was configuring her device.

Suddenly she screamed.. !! ( Ahh! common with girls though..;) )

When asked for the reason she said "Play store says this device is not compatible to install whatsapp !". End of the world....!!!

Seems unusual to me at first, within few seconds it struck, Nexus do not have voice calling or SMS facility and while installing whatsapp , it need to access call or grab the security code from SMS. Obvious security stuffs..with increasing social media it has to be secured.

Remember the iCloud incident "Pictures stolen from devices of famous actors and actresses..". I am sure no body wants to get hacked..

But she needs it...somehow..grr..ANYHOW else Nexus 7 will be a waste for her...she was a daring.*..

How..??

IOS 8 hotspot RIP....is it really true??

Updating something is always risky. Some new features added, existing feature removed, bugs, new tricks blah blah...

Still we update our devices to be on the race of advancing technologies.

Recently we have the IOS 8 updates...and it's the update of apple...so we must expect some good and cool features added in this..but we do not get what we expect always..and this time apple has given a shock by removing the feature to HOTSPOT. No more sharing of internet from IOS devices.. ;(

Wait!! Possible with just a tweak...

Follow this and get connected to IOS using WIFI!! Tested and Verify in Ipad Mini.

  • Go to Cellular Data on iPad.
  • Move to APN setting tab
  • Enter into the Personal Hotspot
  • Fill the username and password field with anything you want with. Do remember though.
  • Tap the Cellular Data button.
  • Enter again into the APN setting tab and here you go...Hotspot is up as we have in ios7.

Hope this will help you find the hidden treasure of Personal Hotspot in Ios 8..

Enjoy IOS 8.. :)

Thanks

Recovering Sticky Note after closing it...

Sticky notes...a powerful piece of application and package shipped with all Microsoft box. Everyone use it day to day basis I assume..
We keep information, notes, links, minutes of meeting blah blah...

What will happen when we accidentally close the application...?

Is there any way to bring the closed note back on to your screen...No...ahh!!

Do you means we lose all data we saved there? Do you mean i lost all information I jotted on that note...shit...

Okay relax, there is a way, but if you are lucky enough.. :)

Please tell me...

Here it goes :

  • Go to the windows installation directory. (Most of the case C:/)
  • Go to Users, then move on to the folder with the user name of the computer.
  • Go to AppData folder (NB: This is a hidden folder, make sure to show the hidden folder option in Organize-> Folder Options)
  • Open the Roaming -> Microsoft -> Sticky Notes.
  • There you can see a file named as 'StickyNotes.snt'.
  • Right click on it...select the option 'Restore Previous Versions'.
  • As I said if you are lucky and your keep restores points option is active, you will see a list of restore points.
  • Select the latest restore point saved and click on restore. (Make sure to close the application before restoring.)

Hope this will help you in case you closed...and in future if something has happened do not freak out and search...there must be some way to make it right...These things are not of their own...we made it and we can break it..

Happy Coding. . .
